This property was sold in 2019 after undergoing some extensive renovations. The client, a film producer who had hired us to work on his residence next door, needed his second investment property on Farmouth to appeal more to higher-paying buyers. He commissioned us to create 2 master bedrooms out of a previously 2 bedroom and one den home. We made several sketches for improved, open-concept, living and kitchen spaces, as well as plans for altering the bedrooms. We added two Juliet balconies to take full advantage of the stunning views of Griffith Park Observatory and re-enforce the feeling of being nestled among the trees. We took a holistic view of the residence to impose symmetry and simplicity onto a home that felt cramped and congested.
